Tata Indicom Blackberry 8830

The good:
Great e-mailing device, PEARL Navigation, Stylish, QWERTY keypad, Memory Card Slot (hot swappable).

The bad:
No Camera, Mono-handsfree, Battery Life, No Wi-Fi, Expensive compared to it's GSM variant.



India has both GSM & CDMA networks with CDMA now having quite a market. It is about time that business users have the option to use an enterprise solution handset on the CDMA network. Today we'll take a look at the Blackberry 8830 from Tata Indicom. We have already taken a look at the Blackberry 8800, and the Blackberry 8830 is basically just the CDMA based version of the same.

Blackberry handsets have always been the enterprise solution handset just that now with even individuals have increased their productivity RIM has managed to focus equally on both - enterprise as well as individuals. Their Blackberry Curve 8300 and especially the latest Bold 9000 proves the companies strive to focus equally on both fronts.
